MY CREATIONS

Here is where the Whimsie is!

One of my passions is creating miniatures. I use both new and recycled materials. I have discovered a few little animals and creatures lurking in my hands and mind, so they will be offered here, as well. These are all hand crafted and mostly one-of-a-kind, made in the U.S.A. miniatures and figurines. The only molds I use are one I made for the sun garden plaque, and sometimes one for tiny hands.

LACE MAKING

has been, for centuries, woman's most fascinating handicraft.

It is thought it was in the sixteenth century that the rare old laces were first imitated by means of crocheting. The method at first was crude, and it was fully a century later that exquisite reproductions of Filet, Venise, etc... appeared. The modern revival of the art of crocheting has met with such universal favor that women the world over are interested in the fascinating work.
